The Role

Skyborn Robotics is looking for an engineer to contribute to our core robotics SDK. We see two major hurdles to adoption in the robotics industry: cost and ease of use. We’re developing low-cost, AI-powered robots and a powerful SDK to go with them that will allow users to get up and running quickly across multiple platforms and languages. 

The Core SDK Software Engineer will be responsible for developing features and owning aspects of the SDK product in order to best meet our customers’ needs. The ideal candidate is experienced in C++ and Python and is familiar with containerization technology. Experience in additional languages is a plus. We’re hiring for all levels from a junior engineer eager to get some experience in the robotics space to a senior engineer looking to grow and lead the team. Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or a related field
• Proficient in C++ and Python
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Docker
• Emphasis on strong development practices: git, github, CI/CD, unit testing

Nice-to-Haves

• Proficiency in additional programming languages
• Experience with performant, high-volume messaging systems
• Experience with IoT integrations

• The job is based in Izmir, Turkey, but you can expect to join an international, multicultural team, and we offer extensive relocation support.
